WLC is happy to announce its award of the North Platte Park Utility Project to be constructed this spring 2025. The project will include civil engineering design, project bidding, and construction contract administration services for infrastructure improvements serving the North Platte Park area. The purpose of this project is to bring sanitary sewer and storm sewer infrastructure to the property north of the Ford Wyoming Center and the Wyoming Sports Ranch. This will allow for successful future development of the area.
Water distribution lines already exist throughout the property for future developments. The project will also include downstream sanitary sewer line improvements to allow for additional sewer flows as well as North Platte Park Lift Station improvements. To begin the project, WLC will collect locations of all adjacent utilities existing improvements, sanitary manhole information, and aerial topography. The aerial topography, along with the field survey, will allow our team to create base drawings to complete the design.
WLC’s primary services include storm sewer system design and sanitary sewer system design including improvements to the North Platte Lift Station. The lift station will require WLC to confirm design flows, calculate storage and pumping capacities, prepare specifications, coordinate with city personnel, and capacity design report. WLC’s design plans for the storm sewer system include analysis of the area’s drainage basins, runoff mitigation, and stormwater quality mitigation.
Finally, WLC will provide construction services including contract administration, bidding, construction surveying, materials testing, and project observation. The project is estimated to begin in May 2025 and be completed in November 2025. We are thrilled to be a part of this project and look forward to seeing the development in the area.
