As a sub to GSG Architecture, WLC provided civil engineering design services for the site including water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer as well as surveying services on the Wyoming Medical Center West Tower and MRI Building. WLC also provided construction inspection on the civil engineering components. The newly renovated 98,000 square feet of space includes private patient rooms, mother-baby suites, labor and delivery suites, an orthopedic and spine surgery floor with a comprehensive rehabilitation gym, and a new chapel, cafeteria, and a gift shop. The new MRI building, adjacent to the West Tower Addition, offers comprehensive services on an outpatient and inpatient basis. Design of the project began in 2010 and construction completed in 2014. The total cost of the project is $42.5 million.
