Red Creek School is located approximately 20 miles south-west of Casper on Wyoming Highway 487. The existing school was a double wide modular building. The Natrona County School District No. 1 (NCSD) proposed to demolish the existing structure and replace it with a new modular building set on a permanent spread footer concrete foundation. In addition to the new building, the NCSD wanted to replace an aging septic system. WLC contracted with the Natrona County School District No. 1 to provide the design and construction administration for a new septic system and leach field for the existing Red Creek School. As the project progressed, the NCSD requested that the structural engineering for the foundation be included under our contract with the District. WLC teamed with Pillar Structural Engineering for the foundation design. The District then requested that the construction documents also include moving the new modular from storage to the site and set it on the new foundation. WLC prepared and compiled the final documents to include foundation construction, septic system/leach field construction, and moving and setting the new modular on the new foundation.
