WLC was hired by a private client to perform land surveying for the Open Range Estates Planned Unit Development in Carbon County, WY. This project required WLC to provide surveying and drafting services to prepare for the Planned Unit Development (PUD). The project included recovering or re-establishing the boundary corners of the parcel, marking exterior lines, locating all structures, mapping all improvements in relationship to the parent parcel boundary, and mapping the proposed division lines and relationships to structures and improvements. Additional services provided by WLC included preparing a Record of Survey in accordance with Carbon County PUD standards, submitting a Sketch Plan to Carbon County Planning and Zoning, and clearly identifying the PUD lots in the field for future reference. In order to find the best solution for the client and their goal, WLC also attended meetings with Carbon County Planning and Zoning personnel and County Commissioners to remain in accordance with the current ordinances. This project was completed on time and within budget.
