In 2005, WLC wrote the Town of Evansville’s Community Development Plan which identified the need for a community and senior facility. This document was instrumental in helping WLC obtain the $1.49 million grant for the Evansville Community & Senior Center in 2008. The grant from the Wyoming Business Council funded approximately 85% of the project cost. The community center project renovated and expanded the Town’s old shop. In addition to writing the winning grant, WLC provided the conceptual 3-D models and conceptual floor plans of the new facility. The new center has a community hall, two smaller community rooms, a senior center, a senior activity room, commercial and general-purpose kitchens, restrooms, an office, and houses the Evansville Library and Historic Center.
