WLC Engineering and Surveying was hired by Converse County, Wyoming to provide services on the road reconstruction and paving for East Antelope Road. WLC was excited to complete this project of approximately 7.59 miles. This project required WLC to completely remove the existing asphalt on 5.9 miles of previously paved road and replace it. During reconstruction, WLC ensured that adequate drainage was included to prevent future saturation of the subgrade. Services provided include land surveying, geotechnical investigation, conceptual designs, environmental field assessments, advertising and bidding, construction management, and overall project management. Along East Antelope Road (County Road #52), lies mostly rural and residential area meaning many property owners were affected by the reconstruction. WLC, however, took time in communicating and engaging with adjacent landowners to notify them of the project and keep them informed on the project, especially those whose day-to-day life were impacted by the reconstruction. Overall, WLC has extensive experience in road reconstruction and is proud to offer their services in improving the County Road for Converse County residents and travelers.
