WLC was hired to provide design, surveying, and construction services for the reconstruction of approximately two miles of drainage and gravel surface roadway. Prior to reconstruction, very poor drainage conditions existed within the right-of-way. New ditches were cut to allow for better drainage and more snow storage in the winter. Improving drainage allowed more runoff to flow into the ditches. WLC worked with adjacent landowners to reroute water to their properties. Better drainage throughout the roadway decreases roadway surfacing maintenance.
