New Owner Spotlight: Justin Stearns, P.E.

Justin Stearns is one of WLC’s three new owners to join the now 7-person ownership group. Justin is excited to be part of this group and watch the company grow as well as help lead our team of professional engineers and surveyors.

With 16 years at WLC, Justin Stearns is a familiar face in the Casper area. As Project Manager and Design Engineer, Justin has added his expertise of civil engineering design, site design, and subdivision layout to countless WLC projects. His design engineering has been applied to pathways, subdivisions, roadways, water and sewer systems, mass grading, drainage, large site designs projects, and much more. Justin graduated from the University of Wyoming with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Water Resources and has 16 years of industry experience.

During his years at WLC, Justin has served on hundreds of projects. Some of his favorite projects he has worked on include the Casper State Office Building, Ten Sleep Fish Hatchery, and David Street Station.

Justin felt it was the right time and a great opportunity to be able to be more involved in WLC’s operations. As an owner, Justin is excited to play a part and have a voice in how WLC will operate and continue in the future.

For the future of WLC as a company, Justin would like to see continued growth as well as bringing on more employees to add to the team. He hopes to be a part of finding the right people to potentially lead WLC down the road.

Justin hopes to make an impact at WLC as an owner. He plans to do this by setting a good example to team members, specifically on how to take pride in the work WLC does. Justin believes this will ensure strong and continued relationships with WLC clients going forward. By treating everyone respectfully and staying dedicated to clients, WLC will always get the job done.
