Shirley Basin Mine Reclamation

WLC was hired by High Country Construction to perform materials testing for the mine reclamation in the Shirley Rim area. During the reclamation process, WLC provided density testing for fill being placed on the mine site. WLC also provided density results to the owner on a weekly basis which included mapping and collecting GPS locations of the tests taken. WLC was onsite twice a week during the fill operations and took approximately 300 tests over the course of the project. This project was completed within budget. However, due to weather the project was briefly paused during the fall and winter months until starting back up in the spring and completing during the 2022 summer.
