WLC was hired by the City of Mills to stabilize a portion of riverfront property along the 900 and 960 blocks on Wyoming Boulevard. WLC supported the City during the grant application process through the State Loan and Investment Board with maps, cost estimates, and more. After funding was approved, WLC provided civil engineering design for Phase 1 of the Riverfront Stabilization project as well as land surveying, materials testing, and construction contract administration.
Throughout the duration of the project, WLC ensured compliance with the Army Corp of Engineer’s permit as well as multiple cultural and environmental requiremant aspects of the project. Additionally, WLC worked mindfully during construction to mitigate issues or complications for future work along this portion of the river.
Once completed, the project brought Mills’ riverfront property one step closer to improvements that the City of Casper has been working towards since the feasibility study was completed in 2016. Phase 1 of the project greatly improved the area and provided more usable public space along the river. The project was completed on time and within budget.
