WLC Engineering and Surveying was hired by the Carbon County Building & Ground Department for an addition design to the Youth Crisis Center in Rawlins, Wyoming. The 50’ X 52’ addition design increases the capacity of the existing Youth Crisis Center allowing the agency to provide more services. The project included foundation, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, paving and landscaping design. WLC also provided materials testing, construction observations, and construction contract administration. To save costs, WLC bid the project in five schedules including: building addition, NFPA 130 fire sprinkler system, parking lot paving, landscaping, and security system. This allowed WLC to work directly with each contractor to eliminate subcontractor fee increases by the general contractor.
