WLC Welcomes Rawlins Office Project Manager, Dan Ferrin, P.E.!

Dan Ferrin

WLC is proud to announce the hiring of Dan Ferrin, P.E., who joined the Rawlins team earlier this month as Project Manager. Dan brings over 14 years of experience in municipal construction projects, including water, sewer, storm sewer and street reconstruction, landfill well monitoring, water meter installations, and street widening and overlay projects.

While Dan has worked on a variety of projects throughout his career, a few of his most notable include the water meter and pit installation for the Town of Saratoga. Dan not only designed the project but managed the construction activities. Similarly, Dan designed the water, sewer, storm sewer and street reconstruction in the Town of Sinclair for the 5th Street and Madison Project. Dan served as the Town’s representative during construction activities by checking soil compaction, testing concrete, managing project documentation and attending council meetings. Dan also managed a number of water and street improvement projects while serving as the Wamsutter Town Engineer.

After earning his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University, Dan’s professional background, largely in Carbon and Sweetwater Counties, made him the ideal candidate for the Project Manager position. In this role, he’ll be the primary contact for WLC clients throughout the Carbon County area. He will oversee and approve all design and technical components of the project, track and ensure the schedule is adhered to, and monitor and control the budget for the clients. Dan is a licensed engineer in Wyoming and Colorado.

Dan’s hobbies outside of work include enjoying the outdoors through hunting, fishing, camping, golfing, and snorkeling. 9
