As a people-first company, WLC values every single member of our team and is excited to celebrate the longevity of four important WLC employees in 2020.

Scott Radden is a Planner and GIS specialist out of our Casper office. In the 15 years he’s been with WLC, Scott has honed his expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and municipal planning. This includes GIS project management and implementation plans, including CAD/GIS integration and utilization. With 24 total years in the industry, Scott is especially experienced in data collection and manipulation, spatial analysis, zoning and subdivision regulation and enforcement and much more, making him an invaluable part of WLC’s operations. As the in-house IT representative, he’s always willing to lend a hand to a colleague.

Darlette Schmidt is celebrating 10 years as WLC’s Office Manager in Rawlins. Darlette’s expertise is in planning, prioritizing, and organizing workflow. She also brings a wealth of experience in handling accounts, developing budgets, and bookkeeping, all of which is essential to WLC’s efficient operations. Prior to WLC acquiring the firm, Darlette was the Office Manager for Robert Jack Smith & Associates, Inc. for 23 years. Safe to say, if you need anything to make your job easier, Darlette is your go-to. Thanks to Darlette the Rawlins office and team run smooth and efficiently.

Chuck Bartlett is a project manager out of WLC’s Rawlins office and will reach the five-year mark with the company this year. With 43 years in the industry, Chuck’s valuable knowledge and experience to evident in every project he manages. He is especially experienced in water distribution and transmission design, wastewater collection, roadway design, solid waste transfer stations, contract administration, and construction observation.  As a Licensed Professional Civil Engineer, Chuck has earned a range of certifications, including Levels 1-3 Wastewater and Water Treatment Plant Operations, OSHA, HAZWOPER, and others.  WLC is fortunate to have such a knowledgeable team member managing our projects from Rawlins.  As a local to the area for many years, Chuck has strong relationships with many people across the county and deep understanding of Carbon County communities’ needs, challenges, and opportunities.

Kelsey Schmidt is a Rawlins native who began with WLC in 2015. As an Office Assistant in the Rawlins office, Kelsey works side-by-side with her mother, Darlette, assisting on various office duties such working with the accounting system, researching for new projects, filing, reports, and customer service. After two years with WLC, Kelsey began learning drafting skills and is able to assist on ALTA, Boundary, ROW Easement and basic survey drafting for the Rawlins office.Her strong planning and organization skills, plus her hometown knowledge and drive to learn new skills have made her a valued member of the WLC Rawlins team.
