WLC Engineering and Surveying was hired by the Natrona County to provide densification of the Geodetic Control Network for the City of Casper and Natrona County. As part of the project, WLC provided control monument placement; coordination with the members of the NRGC; monument recovery; GPS observation of control monuments; post processing and spatial reduction for monument location; publication and documentation of the monument positions with NGS through the OPY/SHARED Control Monument Directory; and a final report and summary of project procedures and results with the NRGC. This provided the establishment and perpetuation of passive geodetic control for future development reference in the City of Casper and Natrona County.
