Looking Back on Highlights of 2025

wlc projects

As we step into 2026, WLC is proud to look back on a year defined by meaningful work across the communities we call home. From infrastructure upgrades to community-centered projects, no two WLC projects were alike, and we’re grateful for the trust placed in our team throughout 2025. We’re excited for the opportunities ahead in 2026, but first, here’s a look back at some of last year’s highlights.

Community Improvement

WLC provided design and funding support for the Reshaw Park project last year. WLC provided civil engineering design, land surveying, materials testing, and construction contract administration, as well as support for the Town of Evansville during the grant application process for maps, cost estimates, and the like. The new park provides more amenities to the area and enhances the overall quality of life for the Evansville community and visitors.

Road Project

Natrona County hired WLC to address drainage issues on Strohecker Road after a significant portion of the drainage crossing washed out during a large rain event in 2023. To accommodate anticipated runoff in the future, WLC sized an appropriate structure for the road. Upon completion, the new drainage structure manages the flow of significant rain runoff events without the risk of another washout and road closure.

Site Development

WLC was hired by Big D to provide site plan development for two new gas stations and convenience stores in Mills and Casper, Wyoming. WLC’s services included land surveying and civil engineering design for site layout, utility design and permitting, drainage system study, site grading, and limited construction administration services. Now completed, both locations offer more options for residents and visitors to get gas and goods.

Municipal Project

The Town of Evansville hired WLC for various phases of the 2025 Sidewalk Improvements project. Beginning with grant application assistance, WLC helped the Town of Evansville with grant writing to secure project funding. Our team then performed land surveying services to develop design plans for new sidewalk on various portions of streets. Upon completion, residents in Evansville will enjoy new sidewalks along the streets, allowing for safe pedestrian traffic throughout the neighborhood.

This list names only a few of the projects WLC completed last year. For a larger preview of all WLC projects, take a look at our portfolio. WLC is beyond grateful for our clients, employees, and partners who helped make the past year a success, and are sure to make 2026 even better.
