WLC Engineering, Surveying and Planning was hired by Fort Caspar Campground to provide the design and permitting for water system improvements. Improvements consisted of expanding the water system in order to improve its ability to provide water to fight fires, if necessary. Additionally, improvements were made to the domestic lines within the park to improve water quality. Several lines were connected together to eliminate some dead end lines and flushing hydrants were added through the system to allow for periodic maintenance. Additionally, the campground needed to remain open during construction so WLC identified locations for the lines that minimized the impact to users.
