WLC Engineering and Surveying was hired by Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (APC) to provide surveying and mapping services for exploratory natural gas wells. WLC located and mapped topography for large multi-well pads and routed pipelines and access for APC and BLM review; slope staked well pads for construction; routed and staked proposed pipelines; and provided open ditch as-constructed during construction for pipelines. Additionally, WLC provided the necessary mapping and exhibits to fulfill federal permitting and private landowner negotiations. This project is large, covering six townships and checker boarding federal and fee ownership lands. WLC set numerous control points in strategic locations to ensure accuracy. For nearly 20 years, WLC has been working for APC as a prime vendor statewide.
