Pinedale Infrastructure Projects

In 2008, WLC Engineering, Surveying and Planning was hired by the Town of Pinedale to provide services for the Phase III Sewer & Water Rehabilitation project. Following the completion of Phase III, WLC was also hired for Phases IV and the North Street Area Project. Each phase was part of the overall master plan to upgrade the Town’s water & sewer system.

Each phase included the design of the replacement of existing sewer and water mains with larger pipe at various locations throughout Pinedale in order to increase flows. It also included the installation of asphalt pavement and concrete curb and gutters and double gutters, landscaping, sidewalks, and other miscellaneous work.

WLC was contracted to complete the preliminary survey, geotechnical investigation, infrastructure design, roadway design, permitting, bidding, contract administration, materials testing, construction observation, construction surveying, and project oversight.

Specifically on Phase IV & North Street projects, WLC provided grant writing assistance to help the Town acquire funding for the projects.

The project area was susceptible to high ground water conditions. To mitigate this issue, WLC utilized various strategies including installing an under drain with new PVC sewer line to dewater and control storm water.

Phase III was completed in 2009, Phase IV was completed in 2010-2011, and WLC is now working on the North Street Area Project.
