New Beacon Club
The Beacon Club, an historic landmark for more than 50 years in the Town of Mills was demolished in 2007.
The "New Beacon Club" now continues the tradition on the same site as the old building. WLC provided civil engineering services for the "New Beacon Club," but also was able to manage the project in such a way as to minimize the time between the closing of the old facility and the opening of the new one.
WLC's professional services included creating the lot grading and drainage plan, the overall site design including the sidewalk, curb and gutter, the asphalt and the new accesses to the adjoining streets.
This project required coordination with the Town of Mills for site plan approval, WYDOT for approach permitting as well as the WDEQ for permitting of the fire protection line to the new building. WLC also provided construction staking services throughout the project. We are proud to have been involved in this historic project.
