WLC was hired by Carbon County Road and Bridge to complete the Pick Bridge Erosion Control project. WLC was tasked with engineering restoration of the embankment and erosion control, obtaining the necessary permits (US Army Corps of Engineers, Wyoming Game & Fish, etc.) for construction, and construction observation and materials testing. Prior to the project commencing, significant erosion had occurred on the east bank of the North Platte River at the Pick Bridge Road crossing. It is likely that future water events would have jeopardized the safety and integrity of the bridge without intervention.
