WLC was hired by WYRULEC and Spectrum Engineering Resources to provide surveying and drafting services including topographic survey for design, exhibits and descriptions for right-of-way acquisition, and construction staking for a new 8 mile long 69kV transmission line to power a new pump station. WLC provided all survey data, including terrain models and imagery, to the engineer in PLS-CADD format allowing a seamless transition from data collection to design. Once the design was complete, WLC staked out directly from the PLS-CADD model as well, eliminating the need to transmit data in multiple formats.
