WLC Engineering and Surveying was hired by the Town of Mills for the Chamberlain Lift Station upgrade and relocation. WLC provided land surveying, civil engineering, construction observation, materials testing, and construction contract administration to relocate the lift station away from the North Platte River and install the new pumps and wetwell along with back-up generator. The most important aspect of this project was the relocation of the lift station away from the river and across Chamberlain Road. Additionally, the entire system was upgraded to all new equipment. Replacing outdated pumps and control panel saved time and money in daily labor and maintenance costs. Replacing outdated pumps and control panel and installing a generator saves time and money in daily labor and maintenance costs and creates a more efficient and reliable system.
