WLC Engineering, Surveying, and Planning was originally formed in Casper, Wyoming as an engineering and surveying firm, Worthington, Lenhart & Carpenter, by Spec Worthington, Elmer Lenhart and Jim Carpenter. In 2006, WLC changed its name to WLC Engineering, Surveying, and Planning to better communicate the services we provide while still continuing to recognize our founders.
As industry and government requirements, needs, demands, and desires change, WLC adapts to better meet the needs of our clients. Throughout the years, WLC identified a need to add materials testing, grantwriting, and GIS services as well as additional office locations. WLC Cheyenne was opened in 2006 and WLC Rawlins was opened in 2011. By expanding our service abilities and locations, WLC streamlines the design and construction process; minimizes the amount of changes and risk during a project by incorporating all experts in the process; and provides a more convenient experience.
